As the former creator and owner of Rumpelstiltskins, one of a kind leather beings, Sally 's work has 'elf'volved onto canvas over the past 10 years. Her textured landscapes and unexpected use of colour are inspired by everyday life in Lunenburg County. Maritime born and raised, Sally has lived in New Brunswick, Cape Breton and now, for the past 23 years in and around her mother's home town of Lunenburg.
Sally uses art as a vehicle of expression in her role as support coordinator at Second Story Women's Centre, facilitating creativity groups for women. A single mother of two grown children herself, Sally recognizes the strength, resourcefulness and creativity of women in their everyday lives.
