The Lunenburg Art Gallery Society was founded in 1972 to promote the legacy of local artist Earl Bailly, and provide a home for his collection of artwork.
LAGS has also evolved into an independent society with over 150 members and our Lincoln Street
gallery is a popular destination.
The Art of Our Community
Everyone is Welcome
We welcome artists with every level of skill and experience. You don't even have to be an artist! All you have to do is join.
We mount a new exhibition on the first Friday of every month, April - October. For an annual membership fee of $40 ($20 for students) every member can participate in each of these shows.
We are a volunteer-run gallery and we encourage all members to donate time and skills if possible. Please note there is a 40% commission on all sales of artwork.

Open Daily 11am - 4pm. Including a large selection of original paintings in a range of sizes as well as fine art prints & cards.

Rent the Gallery
LAGS Members and friends can rent our gallery after our eight-month season ends. It's a clean,open space, over 800sqft, with bright front windows, lots of lighting and parking on a central street. Host a workshop, art club, mount your own solo show or share it with as many friends as you would like.
